Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa has dismissed rumors circulating on social media regarding the alleged passing of Malava MP Hon. Malulu Injendi. The governor confirmed that the MP is alive and recuperating at the Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi.
Speaking to the media after visiting Hon. Malulu Injendi at the hospital, Governor Barasa assured the public that the MP is receiving treatment and responding well. He added that doctors, alongside the MP’s son, Rhyan Injendi, have confirmed his steady recovery.
The governor was accompanied during the hospital visit by Lugari MP Hon. Nabii Nabwera, Navakholo MP Hon. Emmanuel Wangwe, Saboti MP Hon. Caleb Hamisi, and Butali Chegulo MCA Hon. Kevin Mahelo.
Governor Barasa urged the public to disregard unverified information and avoid spreading baseless rumors about the MP’s health.
